What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative teacher of SEND who has a proven track record of excellent teaching and a deep understanding of how children learn.
The successful candidate will:
Support and promote our distinctive Catholic ethos and values
Have high expectations of all young people, and a commitment to ensuring that all children can achieve their full potential
Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs in their learning and wellbeing
Have experience of teaching young people with SEND and ASD within the primary age range
Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills to support pupils with different needs and abilities and has high expectations of learning and behaviour for all
Be actively involved in all aspects of school life, working in partnership with parents and other professionals
Be efficient, flexible, well-organised and an excellent team player.
