What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative teacher of SEND who has a proven track record of excellent teaching and a deep understanding of how children learn.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support and promote our distinctive Catholic ethos and values

  • Have high expectations of all young people, and a commitment to ensuring that all children can achieve their full potential

  • Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs in their learning and wellbeing

  • Have experience of teaching young people with SEND and ASD within the primary age range

  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills to support pupils with different needs and abilities and has high expectations of learning and behaviour for all

  • Be actively involved in all aspects of school life, working in partnership with parents and other professionals

  • Be efficient, flexible, well-organised and an excellent team player.
