The Directors of St Cuthbert’s RC Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our Trust team based at St Anthony’s VC Academy.

We are keen to find a committed and motivated individual to contribute to excellent standards of teaching and learning. This is an ideal opportunity for ambitious and exceptional classroom practitioners who have the skills to develop and inspire the children in their care. The ideal candidate would also have experience of successfully leading a curriculum area across the school, with examples of the impact of their leadership.

Is an advocate of positive behaviour management and understands the value of building relationships with all stakeholders.

Is understanding of the context of our setting and the strengths and challenges this brings.

Has a strong understanding of SEND and has a passion for inclusivity in the classroom

Is able to take the lead on a curriculum area, supporting staff to ensure high quality content and delivery, resulting in the progress of all pupils.

Forms positive, professional relationships with families and wider stakeholders.

Thrives as part of a team, with excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and a good sense of humor.

Is willing to uphold our Catholic ethos and be an example of God’s love in our school and our community. (nb applicants do not need to be practicing Catholic).
