Essential Qualities:

> Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

> Experience teaching in EYFS or KS1

> Commitment to inclusive practice and meeting diverse learning needs

> Excellent communication and teamwork skills

> A willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school.

Desirable Qualities

> Experience of teaching mixed-age classes.

> Knowledge of phonics teaching (e.g. Read Write Inc or similar scheme).

> Experience in developing outdoor learning opportunities

> Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning for Reception and Year 1 pupils

> Provide a caring, stimulating environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and creativity

> Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support individual progress

> Work closely with support staff to ensure all children are included and challenged appropriately

> Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community

> Contribute to the school’s ethos of respect, compassion, and achievement
