We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class Teacher to join our friendly and highly committed staff team. Having received an Ofsted outcome of good in all areas last academic year, we are a thriving school which is determined to support our children and community to flourish. If you want to be part of a team which puts children and the community at the heart of all that we do, we would love to hear from you.
The current role would ideally benefit from someone with EYFS or Key Stage 1 experience, but experience across the whole primary age range would be an advantage.
If you want to make a difference, are happy to go the extra mile and have strong subject and pedagogical knowledge, we would love to hear from you. Our school serves a diverse catchment including pupils with a high percentage EAL and pupils from under resourced backgrounds. Our pupils show positive attitudes to leaning and are very well behaved, demonstrating our school values. St Peter’s really is a wonderful place to work where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families.
At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peters Church. A strength of our school is its size: we are a small school with currently 162 children on roll, including a nursery. It means we know all our children and families well and can make sure that we do our best to develop their learning in a happy, safe, secure and values - respecting environment.
Tours of the school are welcome. To arrange a tour please contact spe.admin@stcmat.org or call 01752 667724.
