We are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher at St Sidwell’s, a wonderful and inclusive school in the heart of Exeter. Our Christian Ethos helps to create a warm, calm atmosphere, whilst priding ourselves on our high achievements. The Academy is part of the St Christopher’s Trust - a family of 21 Church and Community Schools spanning three local authorities and providing a rich network of collaboration. The Trust will build a package of exceptional continuous professional development around the appointed teacher.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic, and inspiring teacher to be part of our teaching team who can help us achieve our mission to ‘Thinking creatively; learning together; Trusting in God’. We are looking for someone who can develop strong, positive relationships that inspire children to be the best they can be academically, personally, socially and spiritually. The school wishes to recruit a member of staff who can be flexible and join a team of hard working and dedicated teachers.

You will work as part of a team, under the direction of the Headteacher and Deputy Head, to ensure all children are receiving the best possible education to reach their full potential.

We are interested to know, through your personal statement, any subject interests or age phase expertise. 


This is an exciting role that will help shape the future development of the school. In joining St Sidwell’s you will be part of a friendly and welcoming staff team and a supportive community. You will develop your teaching and leadership skills in a Trust that has a strong focus on CPD.
