Classroom Teacher job summary
Worfield Endowed CE Primary School, a school within Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, are looking for a confident and knowledgeable teacher to join the school staff team.
ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Hours: 0.4 FTE (2 days per week)
Contract: Fixed term to 31/08/2027 in the first instance

Worfield School is situated just off the picturesque Main Street of half-timbered houses and old cottages, leading to the 12th century church and the Tudor manor house. Our small, rural school provides a warm and friendly atmosphere based on trusted partnerships in the community that we serve. Our children access a safe and stimulating environment in which to develop their academic, social, moral and spiritual potential. Our expectations are high as we aim to provide as many different opportunities for curriculum enrichment as we can. We ensure every day is a learning experience through our rich, varied and vibrant curriculum.
We are looking for a teacher who strives for everyday excellence and who is open to adapting their practice to reflect current research.
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to further develop and enhance the high standards of teaching and learning at Worfield Endowed CE Primary School
- High expectations of all children
- A conscientious attitude to their work and be well organised
- Strong behaviour management skills to develop effective relationships with children
- Knowledge of effective assessment practices
- Excellent subject knowledge and an enthusiasm to share this with children and colleagues

Worfield Endowed CE Primary School is part of Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, a thriving trust formed of eight Church of England primary schools.
