Cleaner job summary
CLEANER
Reporting to: Site Manager
Hours: 10 per week (2 hours Mon-Fri) Term-time plus 5 training days and 5 cleaning days. ( hours can be either 6.15am - 8.15am or 15.30 - 17.30)
Main duties
To carry out cleaning duties in and around the Academy as directed by supervising staff.
- Use equipment provided, ensure the academy is cleaned to a high standard.
- Empty waste baskets and recyclables, transporting to the disposal area.
- Report any problems to the Caretaker on duty.
- To be aware of issues of health and safety and adopt best practice in this respect at all times.
- Ensure neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- To ensure highest quality student safeguarding at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal.
Duties associated with the cleaning of the academy must be performed in accordance with the Academy cleaning specification.
