Cleaner job summary

CLEANER

Reporting to: Site Manager

Hours: 10 per week (2 hours Mon-Fri) Term-time plus 5 training days and 5 cleaning days. ( hours can be either 6.15am - 8.15am or 15.30 - 17.30)

Main duties

To carry out cleaning duties in and around the Academy as directed by supervising staff.

Use equipment provided, ensure the academy is cleaned to a high standard.
Empty waste baskets and recyclables, transporting to the disposal area.
Report any problems to the Caretaker on duty.
To be aware of issues of health and safety and adopt best practice in this respect at all times.
Ensure neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
To ensure highest quality student safeguarding at all times.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principal.

Duties associated with the cleaning of the academy must be performed in accordance with the Academy cleaning specification.
