Cleaner job summary

Bailey Street Alternative Provision Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cleaner to work as part of our Facilities Team. We are hoping to find a keen, flexible team member who will be able to support our staff and children by ensuring that the working environment is kept clean, safe, tidy and welcoming. In the cleaning role you will be required to undertake general cleaning duties to ensure the school is kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties which include ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the standard/specification given. Cleaning experience is required and experience of cleaning in a school would be an advantage. If you enjoy working on your own initiative, are well organised and efficient, we want to hear from you.

Working hours will be 3 hours per school day Term Time Only plus 5 School Inset days.

Hours are Monday to Friday 2pm to 5pm.

£12.85 per hour.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
