We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team at Gusford Primary School. This role is vital in supporting the day-to-day cleanliness of our school site, helping to maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout.
About the role:
This vacancy is for 10 hours per week, and can be worked in either of the following schedules:
- Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00
- Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 17:30
The successful candidate will:
- Help ensure our school remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, and sanitising surfaces across the academy premises
- Follow correct procedures for the safe use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment
- Report any safety hazards, faults or concerns to your line manager promptly
