Cheney School is committed to fostering a positive and healthy environment where every child can thrive. We pride ourselves on our supportive community and high standards. As a School Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our school premises are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained.

You will be working 15 hours per week between 15:30pm-18:30pm at an hourly rate of £12.45, all-year round.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning classrooms, offices, halls, corridors, and communal areas.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting various surfaces.
  • Cleaning and restocking washroom facilities to a high standard.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins, and managing waste disposal.
  • Spot cleaning spillages and responding to unexpected cleaning requirements.
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
  • Reporting any defects, hazards, or maintenance issues to the Site Manager/Caretaker.
  • Undertaking periodic deep cleans, particularly during school holidays.

We're looking for someone who has previous cleaning experience and is friendly, reliable and takes pride in their work.
