Cleaner job summary

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and reliable Cleaner to join our site team at Cloudside Academy, part of L.E.A.D. Academy Trust. This role is essential in ensuring that our pupils and staff work in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Main duties include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas to a high standard
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Maintaining hygiene in toilets and washroom facilities
• Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the site manager
• Following all safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures

We are looking for someone who:

• Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
• Has a good eye for detail and high cleaning standards
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Understands the importance of creating a safe and clean environment for children
