Cleaner job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaner to work flexibly whenever needed. The successful candidate will be part of the cleaning team. You will monitor and provide a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the school, have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. The post will be available to start as soon as possible . We reserve the right to close this application if a suitable candidate is appointed.

The main duties will include:

• All cleaning and daily maintenance of allocated areas to specified standards and schedule. Areas to include classrooms, general communal areas and toilets.
• Safe operation, storage and use of domestic and industrial cleaning materials and equipment.
• Following Health & Safety regulations, including COSHH, as well as reporting hazards to the line manager immediately.
• We are committed to the safeguarding of the children in our care and all applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check

Further information about the job

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
