Cleaner job summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and committed person to join our busy cleaning team who are responsible for the cleaning of the school premises each day.

Monday to Friday: 3.30pm to 5.30pm (We can accommodate a 4.00 pm start)

42.8 weeks per year (term time plus 5 staff training days and 38 hours during school holidays)

The successful candidate will

Carry out the cleaning of the interior of the school to an agreed standard under the direction of the Caretaker.

Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and general hygiene of the school premises.

Ferndown Middle School is situated in Ferndown adjacent to Ferndown First and Ferndown Upper Schools. The school has up to 600 pupils, covering the age range 9 to 13 years old (year groups 5 to 8).
