We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable School Cleaner to join our dedicated premises team. This role is essential to ensuring our school facilities are kept in a hygienic, safe, and pristine condition.


Whether you have extensive professional cleaning experience or are looking to apply your strong attention to detail in a supportive educational environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our academy life.

Our Premises department is collaborative, hard-working, and focused on maintaining high quality standards across the whole site. You’ll be joining a supportive team dedicated to creating a clean and safe learning space for every pupil.


A day in your new role could see you:-


  • sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and emptying litter bins across designated school areas.
  • cleaning and polishing surfaces, fixtures, fittings, changing rooms, toilets, and shower facilities.
  • operating appropriate powered cleaning equipment such as buffing machines or scrubber dryers.
  • maintaining equipment and ensuring cleaning materials and disposables are safely replenished.
  • reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns directly to the Site Manager.
  • assisting with deep cleans and preparation for special academy events like Open Evenings.
  • supporting colleagues and maintaining strict health, safety, and safeguarding procedures across the site.
