Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company was formed in April 2021 and currently comprises 12 Catholic Primary Schools and 2 Catholic Secondary Schools across the Birmingham, Solihull, and Warwickshire areas.

The following outline is not intended as a list of tasks, but gives an overall range of duties and responsibilities which reflects the position.
The Cleaner will provide support to the Premises Cleaning Team with the day to day cleaning of the school site.
Duties are varied but will broadly include:-
Waste Removal – remove all waste from receptacles and place in refuse containers. Wash and disinfect as necessary.
Dusting – remove all dust and dirt from all surfaces with dust control mops and vacuum cleaners.
Hygienic Cleaning – Wipe surfaces clean with damp cloth and approved cleaning agents eg worktops, sinks, door handles.
Toilet Areas – Wipe clean with damp cloth and approved cleaning agents all wash and hand basins taps, mirrors etc.
WC Pedestals & Urinals – clean all surfaces of WC with damp cloth and toilet brush using approved cleaning agents.
Floors – Dirt and dust removal using mops, brushes and vacuum cleaners.
Furniture Polishing – polish all wooden desks, chairs, bookshelves etc excluding technical equipment.
Tidy classrooms / offices / work rooms
Kitchen areas – clean worktops, cupboards and surfaces. Clean fridge, cooker and microwave when necessary.

SAFEGUARDING
The post holder is responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people they come into contact with.
NO SMOKING POLICY
The school operates a ‘No Smoking’ policy. As such, the post holder is required to refrain from smoking anywhere on the school site.
HEALTH & SAFETY
The post holder will be responsible for their personal Health and Safety as per the relevant policy.
In addition, the post holder will be responsible for co-operating with their Line Manager so that they may discharge their Health and Safety responsibilities effectively.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
The College is committed to personal and organisational development of the individual. The post holder will be encouraged to contribute to identify and meet job related development needs.
