We are looking for someone who is keen and eager to provide an excellent cleaning service to our school.

Principally, you will clean all aspects of the designated classrooms, toilets, corridors, and other rooms that you are allocated, to a high-quality standard so that every area you are responsible for is sparkling clean ready for a new day. 

Typically, this work will include the following activities on a daily basis:

·     Dusting

·     Hoovering

·     Mopping floors

·     Polishing

·     Emptying bins and replacing the bin liners

·     Restocking consumables such as paper towels, toilet rolls, hand sanitiser

·     Any other cleaning need that has arisen that day within your area

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail skills along with a flexible approach and the ability to work independently and as part of this busy team. Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to be approachable, professional, flexible and reliable

Applicants will also need to have a good level of understanding of the principles of:

·   how to develop and nurture positive relationships with others

·   ability to communicate well with both with children and staff

·   understands confidentiality and discreteness as part of the professionalism expected working in a school

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
