What skills and experience we're looking for

St Bernard's Catholic Primary School are looking to recruit a Part-Time Cleaner to join our friendly cleaning team. This is a part-time position, working 15 hours per week, term time only plus 6 week in the school holidays. This position is fixed term for 12 months, with the view to becoming permanent.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and the welfare of pupils.
  • Be able to operate equipment and use materials effectively.
  • Understand and follow procedures, work to straightforward instructions, and read labels accurately.
  • Be capable of understanding and operating within regulations.
  • Be able to exchange straightforward information with colleagues and users.
