Stamford Welland Academy

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 additional days)

Stamford Welland Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated site team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.

About the role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the school site to a high standard. This includes toilets, corridors, offices and communal areas, ensuring the academy remains a positive learning environment for all.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Cleaning toilets, offices and shared spaces
  • Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Replenishing cleaning supplies
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
  • Has a strong attention to detail
  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Has a positive and flexible approach
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
