About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness across our school buildings, ensuring pupils, staff and visitors enjoy a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Working as part of our dedicated premises team, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive.
Main duties of the role include:
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices and communal areas to provide a safe, welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
- Carrying out a range of cleaning duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and emptying litter bins to ensure facilities are well presented.
- Working as part of the premises team to maintain a safe and secure school, reporting maintenance issues and ensuring areas are left clean, tidy and secure.
We are looking for an individual who:
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has good communication skills and an awareness of health and safety practices.
