Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a highly organised individual to help create, maintain and manage a safe learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean, safe and well maintained.
The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively problem solve and provide excellent customer service to our community.
You will have:
- Awareness of Health and Safety issues and risks.
- Experience of previous cleaning post.
- The ability to undertake a range of cleaning duties.
- The ability to work on own initiative.
- The ability to demonstrate good inter-personal skills and communicate with a range of people.
What the school offers its staff
The Olive School, Blackburn is a Muslim faith-based, primary school for 4 to 11 year olds, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. The Olive School, Blackburn is a 630 place Muslim faith based primary school. The school opened in September 2013 with 90 Reception, 90 Year 1 and 60 Year 2 children. It will build up its pupil numbers year on year. It has a caring, inclusive ethos and welcomes applications from parents and pupils of all faiths and none. Like all Star schools, it has “Leadership” as a specialism.
