Key Responsibilities

Your daily routines will play a vital role in keeping our high school safe and hygienic. Duties include:

  • Cleaning designated areas of the school, including classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, and toilets.
  • Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and emptying waste bins.
  • Ensuring soap, paper towels, and sanitiser dispensers are replenished.
  • Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly (training provided).
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety hazards to the Site Manager.
  • Deep cleaning duties during designated school holiday weeks.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience:Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential—a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most!
  • Reliability:Punctual, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail:High standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Awareness:A basic understanding of COSHH (Health & Safety) is a bonus, though full training will be given.

Please Note:Because this role is based within a high school, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhancedDBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checkprior to starting employment.
