CLEANERS (PM)
Required as soon as possible - permanent
12.5 hours per week. 3.00 - 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
Term-time plus 50 hours to be worked during school holidays
Grade 4, Point 6
Full time salary: £24,997
Actual salary: £7,783.76
We are looking to recruit hardworking, dependable and flexible cleaners to join our small and friendly team. The role is important in ensuring that our school is a safe, clean and well maintained environment for students and staff. Key responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting of classrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Comply with all relevant health & safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used and stored safely and stocks are replenished, as required
• Maintain equipment in good working condition
• Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the cleaning supervisor/facilities manager.
We are looking for someone who:
• Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene & safety in environments with children
• Can work efficiently, independently and takes pride in high standards
• Is physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, lifting and bending.
• Ideally has experience in a similar setting, although full training will be provided.
