Cleaning Assistant job summary
Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust is pleased to invite applications for the post of Cleaning Assistant at Worfield Endowed Church of England Primary School.
Required: ASAP
Salary: NJC Grade 1 SCP 3 (£12.85 per hour)
Contract type/term: Fixed Term to 31/08/2026 in the first instance
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3.15pm - 5.30pm (11.25 hours per week) Term Time plus 3 weeks
(Daily working pattern negotiable if before school hours are preferred)
We are looking to appoint a cleaner to join our existing cleaning team. The successful candidate will ideally have an awareness of health, safety and hygiene procedures together with experience of working in a cleaning role.
This is a temporary position to cover current absence within the team. This position may therefore be subject to review should the substantive postholder return or other staffing changes occur.
