About the Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor you will provide essential operational support that enables staff to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and learning. You will be a key point of contact for colleagues, pupils and external stakeholders, helping to ensure processes run effectively and professionally across the school.
Main duties of the role include:
Ensure the campus is cleaned appropriately, by directing staff as necessary to provide a comprehensive cleaning service to include dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, emptying bins, cleaning toilets etc, to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials, re-ordering when needed. Ensure the team has supplies they require in order to meet the establishment's needs
Plan and deliver schedules for more specific needs such as deep clean timetable fully utilising quieter periods, and provision for special events such as parents' evenings and commercial functions / hire
We are looking for an individual who:
Has experience of managing a team
Experience of general cleaning, including furnishings and fittings, carpets and other floor surfaces on a regular basis
Previous training / experience relating to Health & safety within a cleaning environment and COSHH regulations
