Cleaning Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint an organised Cleaning Supervisor who will work well as part of a team and truly want the best for our students. If you enjoy working with young people and would like to help them prepare for their future working lives, we would like to hear from you.

- 10 Hours per week, 43 weeks per year
Due to our increasing PAN and student numbers, we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our academy as our staff body continues to grow and support our larger year groups of 220 students. This is an exciting time to join our academy as we celebrate our Outstanding Academy Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors stated that Bristnall Hall Academy is a “truly inclusive and harmonious school” and that “everyone is proud to be part of a close-knit school community that is working together with a common purpose.” Our staff “feel valued” and our classrooms “ooze enthusiasm and productivity”.
We are seeking to appoint an individual who has previous experience of line managing cleaning staff in a similar environment and experience of stock control/ordering of stock. The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible to a member of the Senior Leadership team and Regional Estates Manager and, under the direction of the academy leadership team and Regional Facilities Manager, supervise the cleaning staff and have responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning and sanitisation of the building and facilities, ensuring Health & Safety compliance at all times
The successful candidate will have a good level of literacy and numeracy, the ability to work on their own and within a team to provide a high standard of customer service. Qualifications in Health & Safety/specialised equipment Training are desirable, however, experience in supervision is essential for this role.
