Clerk to Governors Vacancy
Pickwick Academy Trust wish to appoint a well organised, efficient person with good communication, minute taking and word processing skills to become Clerk to Governors at St Gregory’s CE VE, Marnhull, Primary School. The ability to work flexible hours is important, as some weeks will require more hours than others, averaging 2 hours a week Term time only (38-week contract), including attending some evening meetings.
Required to start: as soon as possible
Salary: Grade 5, Point 5, £23,500 pro rata, per annum (actual salary £1072.10 per annum)

The Clerk is required to attend all statutory meetings of the Local Governance Committee, committee meetings and occasional additional meetings. The successful candidate will be required to maintain confidentiality and liaise with the Head of School, Chair of Governors and members of the Local Governance Committee.
The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
