Clerk to the School Advisory Board job summary

We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust, committed to delivering exceptional education through our values of ‘Aiming High’, ‘Being Inclusive’ and ‘Working together.’ The Clerk to the School Advisory Board plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our local governance layer, preparing agendas and papers and taking accurate minutes at SAB meetings. The Clerk also provides advice on governance and procedural matters to ensure members are following good practice.

You can expect to attend 4 SAB meetings each academic year plus additional training and governance professional networking sessions. There will also be the opportunity of occasional additional paid hours to clerk specific panel meetings within the Trust.

The successful candidate will possess:

Excellent administration and communication skills

Experience of minute taking

Confidentiality and impartiality

Good interpersonal and organisation skills

Competency in Microsoft Word

This role is for 3.16 hours per week, term-time only.
