About the Role

As a Co-Educator, you will support the class teacher in delivering an inclusive, engaging learning experience that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential. Working with individuals and small groups, you will adapt learning activities, provide targeted support and interventions, promote positive behaviour, and encourage independence. You will help create a nurturing environment that supports pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development while contributing to assessment, progress monitoring, and the delivery of the school’s values and curriculum.

About You

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping children achieve their full potential. Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

About the School

Roydon Primary Academy is part of a collaborative and dynamic Multi-Academy Trust that fosters an inclusive and ambitious learning community. At Roydon, we are committed to providing a high-quality education within a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive and achieve their full potential. Our school culture values respect, collaboration, creativity, and a shared commitment to excellence, ensuring that all pupils develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed both academically and personally.

About the Trust
BMAT is a thriving community of schools, committed to providing an outstanding education for every student attending one of our schools. The Trust’s vision is clear - to work together to smash through the barriers that prevent children from becoming confident, high-achieving, and independent individuals.

What can BMAT offer you?
BMAT provides a range of benefits to support your personal and professional well-being:

  • Enhanced and flexible PPA

  • Home and electronic salary sacrifice scheme
  • Cycle to work
  • Discounted Gym membership through salary sacrifice
  • Lifestyle and discount savings
  • Workplace nursery fee salary sacrifice scheme via Yellownest
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for wellbeing support

BMAT Education is committed to safeguarding children; successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance, we may also conduct an online search about any shortlisted candidates as part of our due diligence to identify any matters that might relate directly to our legal duty to meet safeguarding duties, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
