Co-Headteacher job summary

We are looking for a enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative leader to work in partnership with the existing Headteacher, supporting the school on its transition journey to an all through primary school in September 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to lead together on whole school improvement, continuing to improve outcomes for children and empowering our teaching staff to further develop themselves.

The Elms Primary School is in a very exciting chapter of its journey as we became an all-through primary in September 2022. We are the largest primary school in the Faringdon Learning Trust (FLT) with 428 children on role. We currently have one pre-school school class catering for children aged 3, one Reception class, one Year 1, two Year 2 classes, one Year 3 class, three Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 classes. Over time, we hope the numbers will even out as we become the 2-form entry school which has been planned, building and strengthening our learning community.
