We are seeking an experienced and proactive College Estates and Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, security and presentation of our College estate.

This is a key operational role responsible for ensuring our buildings, boarding facilities, grounds and infrastructure are safe, secure, compliant, well maintained and fit for purpose. You will lead the premises, caretaking and facilities teams, oversee cleaning provision and coordinate contractors and external service providers. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the SLT member responsible for operations on developing the whole College site.

Working closely with the College's senior leadership team, you will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, premises compliance, health and safety arrangements, fire and security systems, grounds and cleaning services. You will also manage minor works and projects, support events and lettings, monitor budgets and ensure value for money from contractors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have strong estates or facilities management experience, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage staff, contractors and competing operational priorities effectively. Experience of working in a school, college or similar complex environment would be advantageous.

You will be committed to maintaining high standards across the College and to creating a safe, welcoming and well-presented environment for our students, staff and visitors. Safeguarding is central to this role, and you will be expected to ensure appropriate checks and procedures are followed by staff, contractors and external providers.
