College leaders will be expected to work 2 days in the holidays if required.

Due to a current College Leader gaining internal promotion, We are seeking an exceptional College Leader to join our pastoral team. This is a rewarding non-teaching role, responsible for providing high-quality pastoral care and support to students, while leading a team of Form Tutors. The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to promote excellent attendance, behaviour, welfare and personal development. As a College Leader you will be an influential middle leader in the school with a real opportunity to make an impact.
We are looking for a colleague who can demonstrate:
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Empathy and a strong commitment to student wellbeing
- Excellent organisation and time management
- The ability to use data effectively to inform decisions and interventions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others
- The ability to lead, manage and develop a team of tutors

What the school offers its staff
The post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working weeks will be 42; 38 weeks term time, plus 5 staff learning days. College leaders will be expected to work 2 days in the holidays if required.
Salary for a full-time post at Band J (points 26-29) is within the range £38,510 to £41,177 starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary based on hours and weeks worked is £35,925 to £39,284 subject to any continuous service plus an out of hours/safeguarding allowance of £1064.77 per annum.
