Working pattern

Full time: The post is for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Working weeks will be 42; 38 weeks term time, plus 5 staff learning days. College Leaders will also be paid for an additional 3 weeks to cover additional workload for out of hours/safeguarding work. College leaders will be expected to work 2 days in the holidays if required.

Actual salary based on hours and weeks worked is £34,777 to £37,186 subject to any continuous service plus an out of hours/safeguarding allowance of £1064.77 per annum.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to recruit a Non-Teaching Colleague as a College Leader to lead, manage and support the personal development, behaviour and welfare needs of all our students and to help the school continue its excellent progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an existing team to have a significant influence on the culture of the school. As a College Leader you will be an influential middle leader in the school with a real opportunity to make an impact.

We require a College Leader with the following attributes:

  • Outstanding communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead, manage and develop a team of tutors and students
  • The ability to analyse and subsequently act upon a range of different student data
  • The ability to engage with parents and other stakeholders
