Communications & Events Manager job summary

The Communications & Events Manager will lead on internal and external communication, manage digital channels, and deliver engaging school events that strengthen community relationships. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic communicator, skilled organiser, and strong collaborator who shares our commitment to excellence in education.

This is a term-time only position, working 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Create engaging content for newsletters, website, and social media.

Maintain brand identity and promote school achievements.

Plan and manage key school events such as open days, celebrations, and parent engagement activities.

Coordinate logistics, schedules, vendors, and on-the-day operations.

Strengthen relationships with students, staff, parents, and local partners.

Support marketing, enrolment promotion, and public relations initiatives.

Administration support for the Headteacher as required

About You

Experience in communications, events, or marketing (education experience advantageous).

Excellent writer and confident content creator.

Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Competent in social media and digital communication tools.

Creative, energetic, and detail oriented.
