Sprowston Infant School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our dedicated staff team. The SRB is a complex autism base and has 26 spaces and we have 3 classes. Children are in classes due to need, not age, so there is a mix of YR – Yr2 children in each class. Each class has a teacher, HLTA and 2 TA’s with a welfare assistant who works across all 3 classes.
As a staff team we have high standards and expectations for all our pupils. We have recently achieved the National Autistic Society Specialist Award at advanced status, the only setting in Norfolk currently at this standard, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for specialist education to come and work with an amazing highly skilled staff team. Every day is different and so being flexible and responsive to children’s needs is important.
