Computing Teacher for Deaf Children in KS3/4 job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed teacher to join a well-established team. You will need to have an innovative and engaging approach to lessons to facilitate access to the computing National Curriculum for deaf students. You should also be adept in monitoring and assessing to ensure the best possible progress. A new 300MB wifi infrastructure has been installed and the school is looking to switch to the cloud. The successful candidate must be able to offer subject specialism up to GCSE level in Computing. The ability to offer a second subject is desirable. They will also be expected to have involvement in the wider life of the school including tutoring responsibility for a small group of students. Teachers who have experience and/or qualification to teach deaf children are invited to apply. Knowledge of British Sign Language or a commitment to work towards minimum BSL3 is essential.
