Computing Teacher (KS2) job summary
We are searching for an enthusiastic computer teacher to promote computer literacy among our KS2 pupils. In this part time position, you will be required to explore and use the technology available to our pupils, craft and present lessons, develop teaching material, and assess standards. Computer teachers should also ensure that equipment remains in excellent working condition and is ready for each lesson.
To ensure success as a computer teacher, you should demonstrate flexibility and support as you help students to develop confidence in their computer skills. An outstanding computer teacher will be able to support all levels of learners to access the complete computing curriculum and excite them by technology in the process. Pupils will leave our school prepared for the demands of the secondary school computing curriculum.

Eastbury Farm Primary School is a 1.5 form entry school in Northwood, Ofsted graded 'Good' (February 2024) and is set in beautiful, extensive grounds in Northwood. We fall under the local authority of Hertfordshire (London Fringe area) but border the borough of Hillingdon (Outer London area). We are a diverse school operating from Nursery through to Year 6. The school is made up of a 30 hours nursery class, two reception classes and then three mixed classes per key stage: 3x Y1/2 classes in KS1, 3x Y3/4 classes in lower KS2 and 3x Y5/6 classes in upper KS2.
Our extremely enthusiastic children are well behaved, friendly, hard working and love to learn. The whole school community has a very caring and supportive ethos and is committed to giving the very best to our children. A dedicated team of staff have established a culture in which every pupil has the opportunity to thrive and flourish.
