What skills and experience we're looking for

The Priory Federation of Academies Trust is seeking dedicated professionals to teach and mentor apprentices and school learners on technical courses. We present exciting opportunities for an occupational expert to lead Construction and the Built Environment courses from our Construction Technical Centre of Excellence, the Keyworth Centre. We are looking for a Tutor/Instructor/Teacher, who can deliver Level 2 courses and apprenticeship standards in at least Bricklaying, Groundworks and Property Maintenance. We also welcome applications from candidates with other construction backgrounds and disciplines, as we enter this period of growth and development.

This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation, as we look to add to our expanding construction and engineering faculty. The faculty is committed to providing excellence and innovation to industry, and passionate about preparing our learners for their fulfilling careers in the construction industry. The faculty will be delivering T Levels, Level 2 courses and apprenticeships in construction and the built environment, in collaboration with the construction sector, and we are looking for an ambitious, motivated Tutors/Instructors/Teacher to join the team to support this work. This positon will be based at the Keyworth Centre on the Priory Lincoln Academy site as well as travel to other sites, and employer premises.

The role involves coordinating and delivering the programmes of learning, training, and assessment of Construction and Property Maintenance apprenticeship and study programmes, to meet the needs of employers and our learners to achieve the Standards set by the awarding bodies and end point assessment organisations.

The successful candidate must be occupationally competent and hold or be willing to work towards a recognised assessor or teaching qualification, as well as understanding apprenticeship standards in Construction.
