Job Title : Cover Administrator/Supervisor
Contract Type : Permanent
Working Hours : 7.00am - 1.30pm (32,5 per week)
Working Weeks : Term Time plus up to 5 additional days (tbc)
Pay Scale & Point : H7, 19
Actual Salary : £25,118.00
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and confident Cover Administrator/Supervisor to join our school.
As Cover Administrator you will
- arrange cover for staff absences each day, both planned and unplanned
- liaise with SLT with responsibility for cover around emerging cover needs
- keep accurate records of supply cover bookings
- prepare reports for payments of supply staff and absence reporting
As Cover Supervisor you will
- take classes for absent teachers, including the accurate registration of students
- take full responsibility for the behaviour of the students, following established protocols to ensure a positive learning environment
- establish and maintain effective relationships and communication with staff and students
- help to develop a learning culture with high expect6ations in a safe and secure learning environment
What we're looking for
- experience of working with children or young people
- high expectations of student behaviour, achievement and personal development
- capable of building positive, respectful relationships with students and staff
- excellent IT, numeracy and ICT skills
