We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed Cover Assistant.
The successful candidate will supervise whole classes, across the school from Nursery to Year 6, undertaking pre-prepared activities provided by a teacher to address short term absences. The successful candidate will maintain order, keep pupils on task and ensure active learning is continued.
The successful candidate will possess:
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working successfully and collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver programmes of teaching and learning activities for classes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to develop effective working relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Experience of working as a classroom or Teaching Assistant within a primary school environment.
- The skills and attributes that meet the criteria detailed on the person specification essential for the role.
