What skills and experience we're looking for

About You:

Caister Academy are seeking a confident and highly organised individual who can ensure the continuity of high‑quality education by overseeing all aspects of daily cover. You’ll take the lead in coordinating staffing arrangements across the school, ensuring classrooms - and occasionally other areas - are appropriately supervised when teachers are absent. Working closely with teaching staff and support teams, you’ll help maintain engaging learning experiences, keep lessons running smoothly, and ensure students remain focused throughout the day.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths, minimum Grade C or equivalent
  • High level of education
  • Proven experience of working in an educational environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
  • Resilience and motivation to manage day-to-day challenges
