JOB TITLE: Cover Manager

REPORTS TO: Business & Operations Manager

SALARY SCALE: NJC 4a pt 11 - 15

HOURS: 37 hours per week includes an unpaid 60 minute lunch break (8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, term time only)

We require a cover manager to join our existing cover team. You will manage the school's cover needs and provide cover on a daily basis, ensuring sufficient classroom staffing with the help of the existing cover supervisor. The role will involve liaising with supply agencies, staff and the senior leadership team so good interpersonal skills and an organised and methodical approach would be an advantage. As part of Central Bedfordshire’s ‘Schools for the Future’ development programme, we are currently exploring a long-term plan to evolve into an 11-16 secondary school.
