Cover Superviser/HLTA job summary
We are seeking an experienced primary Cover Supervisor/HLTA to join our Team. As the Cover Supervisor/ HLTA for our school, you will be covering scheduled PPA where needed and support groups of children with intervention. Please note, previous applicants need not apply.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a good understanding of the primary National Curriculum
Has experience covering classes from Foundation to Year 6 (particularly KS2)
Able to lead quality lessons through planning provided
Has a passion for teaching Has a willingness to learn and progress
Has good behaviour management skills
Is able to communicate effectively with others, have fun and be part of an amazing team
As cover supervisor you will be required to teach independently, following guidelines outlined by the class teacher’s planning, as well as provide timely marking and feedback to support the children’s learning.
