What skills and experience we're looking for

The role is to provide effective cover across the school in a range of classes and subjects in response to short-term teacher absence, ensuring good order is maintained in the classroom and pupils keep to task. To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff within an agreed system of supervision.

What the school offers its staff

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our well-established Cover Team. The permanent contract is for 34 hours per week working Mondays to Fridays (less half an hour for lunch) term time only. The successful candidate will need to have good listening and communication skills, be flexible and focused under pressure, previous experience in an educational environment is desirable.
