Hours: 37.5 hours, 39 weeks (term time plus one week)

Working pattern: 7.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Pathway 4, £25,638 - £27,371 per annum (FTE £29,540 - £31,537)

Your role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects. Whilst keep learning on track, you’ll create a calm, purposeful environment where every student feels supported. You’ll work with learners of all abilities, helping them stay engaged and making sure each lesson runs smoothly in the teacher’s absence. You’ll also play an important part in the wider life of the academy by supporting staff, contributing to pastoral care and assisting the Cover Team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks.

You’re the ideal candidate if you have experience working with young people in an educational setting, can communicate clearly, and feel comfortable leading a class independently.
