Cover Supervisor job summary

Glyn School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to supervise classes of students working on pre-planned lessons for absent teachers, providing guidance, support and classroom management expectations.

The post is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience working with secondary age students and would be ideal for someone looking for a career in teaching. The role is also an opportunity for recently qualified teachers who have not yet secured a teaching role who would like to gain extra experience in a classroom.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Scale: GLF Specialist FTE £27,061 - £30,791

Working Hours: 31.65 hours per week 8.30am - 3.30pm with 40min unpaid break (39 weeks per year)

Actual Salary: £20,467.37 - £23,288.52

Contract type: Permanent

Closing Date: Wednesday 20th May at 9.30am
