35 hours per week

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

39 weeks per year – term time plus inset days

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education, with the potential to pursue a career in teaching. The successful candidate will supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain engaged and productive in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising classes and ensuring students remain on task with the work set by the class teacher.

  • Providing support to pupils, promoting inclusion, and fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Delivering feedback to the classroom teacher regarding student progress and behaviour.

  • Managing any immediate issues or emergencies in line with school policies.

  • Supporting teachers and departments with administrative tasks when not covering a class.
