(Full time equivalent salary: £25,979 to £28,770 per annum)

Full time – Term time plus 5 days

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm (including an unpaid 30 minute lunch break).

Would you like to train to be teacher and are looking for classroom experience? The Cover Supervisor role is an excellent way to gain that much needed experience. At Harper Green School, we have a proven track record of supporting existing staff through their teacher training and teacher training conversion courses. These staff have continued on to be part of our teaching staff.

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher, under the guidance of teaching/senior staff. The role will include the implementing the curriculum and assisting students in completing their learning, in line with their needs and school policies and procedures.

In addition, the successful candidate will also be expected to undertake administrative duties, in class support, exam invigilation and school break and lunchtime duties.
