Cover Supervisor job summary
Aldercar High School is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable School Business Assistant (Cover Supervisor) to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role combining classroom supervision with administrative support, making a real difference to the daily life of our school.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning in a calm, purposeful and productive environment. Alongside this, you will provide valuable administrative support across the school, helping to ensure our operations run smoothly.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with young people.
- Demonstrates effective classroom management skills and high expectations.
- Can confidently manage behaviour and promote positive learning environments.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is flexible, proactive and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Is committed to supporting the educational and personal development of young people.
