Your role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, supporting students with varying needs—including those with EHCPs—and ensuring that learning continues smoothly and effectively. You’ll also contribute to departmental support, pastoral care, and administrative tasks as needed.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of the national curriculum, and the confidence to lead a classroom independently. Experience working with young people in an educational setting is essential, and a commitment to safeguarding, equality, and continuous professional development is a must.
