We at The Royal Liberty School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and committed individual to the role of Cover Supervisor. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal and behaviour management skills and will benefit from the support of colleagues, especially teaching staff and our pastoral team.
This role would best suit someone looking to make a positive difference to the lives of young people and the extended school community.
If you are interested in a career in teaching or education, being a Cover Supervisor would be the perfect first step. Staff testimonials demonstrate our commitment to the development and wellbeing of all members of our community. We would be committed to developing you as an individual.
Our school has recently celebrated its Centenary and is proud of its traditions, the strong sense of community and the excellent behaviour of its students. Our steeped history as a school, and that of Hare Hall, provides a unique opportunity to develop a passion for learning in young people.
As a member of staff at our school, you would have access to a range of benefits and rewards from companies such as Havering Education Services and the Schools Advisory Service. These include discounts from major retailers as well as a wide range of health and wellbeing packages (such as free physiotherapy appointments).
The successful applicant will:
Deliver effective, engaging lessons to students based on lesson plans and materials provided by absent classroom teachers.
Contribute to the behavioural philosophy of the school, cultivating a safe and respectful learning environment.
Work as part of the school’s Pastoral team.
Meet with the Assistant Headteacher (Teaching and Learning) to discuss classroom strategies and begin to consider particular methods and strategies that work for you.
If you are looking to advance in a small, friendly and, above all, supportive school and you are committed to providing the very best experience for our students, we would be keen to meet you. Visits to the school from potential applicants are welcomed. Please contact Mr. J. Benstead (Assistant Headteacher Teaching and Learning) - jbenstead@royalliberty.co.uk - to organise. You can also contact the school via telephone (01708 730141) if you would like more details about the role of Cover Supervisor.
